Sir Elton John, no less!

Sir Elton John plays the Scarborough Open Air Theatre to a sell-out, record crowd tonight.
Shooting for the Evening News (see Monday's paper!), Sir Elton's people had given us the only photo pass, and then I was delighted when I was unexpectedly allowed absolute stage front position, only for one song mind, but that was fine by me. Big, big thanks to Elton's staff for that!!
I liked the way his hands playing on the keys are reflected in his glasses in this extreme close up portrait.
Need I say the guy really is a total superstar, who gave a fantastic performance...
