RSD Photo's SoCal Life

Leaves

One of the hardest things about losing my 40D is the difficulty I now have in taking close-up photos. I have tried a number of different subject around the complex, but end up deleting most of them once I view them on my computer. This morning I was determined to get something and worked hard on the composition and lighting for this image. I liked the strong diagonal lines and the contrasty lighting, but wish I could get tighter depth of field. My understanding, however, is that due to the small size of my point and shoot's sensor this is the best I can hope for.
