Smokey 1729 hr

As promised, I'm back on track blipping on the day from today, for the first time in a week. However the heatwave implied by the weathermen after yesterday's downpours never materialised and I spent the day continuing to catch up on the pile of stuff that accrues just because I'd been out of the house for a mere two days.

On the radio I was hearing highlights from Glastonbury and seeing bits of it on the BBC TV red button service. Avoiding U2 was a bit of a mission but highlights for me among a lot of dross so far have been BB King, Primal Scream, Anna Calvi and unsigned band Fever Fever.

Smokey was outside the kitchen window on a bench top and I went outside with a close-up lens on my zoom and got a couple of pictures.
