Among Giants

One of my favourite actors of all time is Pete Postlethwaite and one of his lesser known films is 'Among Giants' about a gang of pylon painters. It's a bittersweet romantic comedy with Pete in quite a different role, and well worth watching if you haven't seen it. On my ride home tonight I passed a white van, propped up on the verge in the middle of nowhere, blaring out music...then I saw the guys painting the pylon above. They were very obliging when I asked if I could take a photo. One of them even waved.

This could be becoming a mini series!
