The fruits of evolution in a Norman wood

The more I think and read about evolution by natural selection, the more gobsmacked I become.

It's the fine scale detail that really impresses me. Take for instance this battered looking old leaf. Battered it may be, but it has been battered by an expert. A moth caterpillar has cut and twisted the leaf and then stitched it into place with silk to form a tube-shaped refuge in which to safely pupate. Is that not just utterly amazing?
