Coneflower

Echinaceas are wonderful flowers and they grow in my neighbours garden to perfection. They have the best garden in our village, according to the judges at our local horticultural show and this week I get to look after it as they've gone on holiday.
So you may see quite a few shots of the plants because the garden is a photograper's paradise.
Echinaceas, or coneflowers, originate from the prairies of North America and in our gardens they combine beautifully with rudbeckias and heleniums. Of course, my neighbours know that but I'm still learning...

For the record: 18C and cloudy.
