Wildlife artist

Martin Ridley, based in Comrie, is a wildlife artist who has earned his living full time as an artist for more than twenty years.

He lives in Comrie and is taking part in this week's Perthshire Open Studios.

His attention to studying his subject is phenomenal spending hours in the countryside sketching and photographing birds and animals before coming back to his studio.
