Graffiti

I like graffiti, even just tagging, I think it tells us something about how we engage with our environment & can be amazingly creative.

We forget that the Walls & pavements that surround us are ours!

Climb on the rocks up at the Cow & calf in Ilkley & you'll see Victorians have inscribed their names onto the rocks. Further back, the Romans, the Egyptians etc all used Graffiti to communicate & what are cave paintings if not graffiti?

Anyway this was daubed on the fire door of the office I work in. It's the most innocent & naive (knowingly?) graffiti I've ever seen!

Its quite poignant in an urban setting, the house with a White picket fence & little garden, the house children dream of that we all want to live in but these days (for a generation) are unlikely to ever see?
