Allium Ursinum

Beautiful sunny day today so we took the dog to the local woods. Down by the brook there was the most amazing smell of this beautiful, nutty wild garlic as far as the eye could see.

The woods are part of an old medieval deer park that then became the grounds of some big house and then was left to go a bit wild. Its now a public place for everyone to enjoy, but amazingly we had it to ourselves!
