Having not experienced rain for a month I was quite happy to wander around in it all afternoon. This pair and the many others emerging from the Taste festival were evidently less pleased with it and were prepared to sacrifice some of their dignity and comfort to repel it. From the quantity of people wearing such things (even more than on a rainy day during Festival-time) I would hope that they weren't being charged for them. There were also large groups of people wandering around with new-looking re-usable canvas shopping bags as well as the not-very-reusable polythene ponchos who will hopefully at least recycle the latter.
