Under the bridge

Whenever I see this reflection, I'm always half-convinced that there's a concrete structure just below the water. Today I think I worked out why. Could it be because it's a reflection of something you can't see (the underside of the bridge)?

Or maybe it's just me.

Today, thanks to this calculator, I discovered I was the 3,133,637,679th person alive on planet Earth at the time I was born. Since then, the population's more than doubled.
