Low Light ~ White Tree

It was another one of those days today...

At 11.30am the lights went out. Literally. Power cut!

Primary culprits are the tram contractors. While walking across to get lunch there was a group of hard hats standing round a hole next to a JCB. Ooops!

For once however, the recovery procedures worked as expected and 3 hours later the teams were back at work. The expected late night and last minute rush to get things complete didn't materialise.

Result!

Not being at all green fingered I have no idea what the subject of tonight's blip is, but these wonderful white barked trees are dotted all around the soft landscaping of Edinburgh Park. They stand out so vividly against the browns and greens of the other shrubs and trees.

Looking forward to the weekend and getting on the road again. Weather permitting I'll be heading up to St. Andrews for more castle blips!
