On our way back from Rye this morning, we took a little detour to Dungeness in Kent. Blimey, that place is bleak!
It is a headland at the most extreme south eastern point of England and you really do feel battered by the elements there. What you can't see here, is that there is also a massive nuclear power station, feeding into the apocalyptic feel of the place. Fascinating, though, and absolutely worth seeing.
Can't quite figure out what all these abandoned boats and huts are about, but there are loads of them around.
Now back at home, getting ready for the week ahead. I am, as so often, way behind on comments and catching up, and see little chance to redeem myself this week. I'll get there......as soon as I can.......
