Young@Heart Chorus

This afterno0n we attended our first live Young@Heart concert--as we expected, it was marvelous! They are a group of senior citizens (at least 73 years of age) from Northampton who sing popular songs, having great fun and with broad success. They will celebrate their 30th anniversary this year, continuing to give concerts here and even abroad.

They starred in a terrifically entertaining and moving movie in 2007 called Young@Heart--the link is is to a trailer for the movie, which actually gives a good idea of what they are all about. They are an inspiration to all of us, and especially those who are no longer young (I'll leave that undefined).
