Wild & Wet

Very hard to photograph the ambience of the wind and rain and mist on the hills. We decided to go to Tain so along the Lairg road I tried photograph along the road. The wind was whipping up the water from the lochs and the hills were covered in mist with masses of streams of water cascading down the slopes. Parts of the road were flooded, the gullies overflowing across the road. We made it to Tain and did some shopping and when we came out of the supermarket the rain had stopped but as we traveled west it got wetter and wetter. Certainly no shortage of water up here.
