Summer solstice

Today is longest day of the year.
And by the look of it, it is also going to be the wettest.
The ducks and the 4 ½ year olds love it.

Somehow the Met Éireann template does not fit today.
These guys have managed to remain in full time employment since the dawn of time with only one all-purpose forecast: scattered showers and bright sunny spells.
I'm glad I'm the only one to have noticed. I am not in favour of the rationalisation of the civil service.
