Making a Glass Christmas Bauble

My daughter and I went the National Glass Centre today to make a glass bauble.
We had to gather the glass from the furnace at 1108 degrees. Roll it in some coloured chips, heat it, then blow it into a sphere. Then a top with a hook on it was added. We get to collect it tomorrow as at the moment it is cooling at 500 degrees. It will be out of the cooling kiln in the afternoon and I cannot wait to see the result. The guy at the glass centre is called Ian. My daughter is putting the first bubble of air inside the glass.
