A HIGH TIDE IN SHORT WELLIES

A four metre high sculpture by Ray Lonsdale, currently residing on Filey seafront. This masterpiece shows a rod fisherman with his catch, staring out to see. At his feet is his catch, wrapped in newspaper. Behind is a rat about to eat the fish - as the ode below indicates :

That's it for me I'll see you later,
gonna wrap this catch in protective paper,
gonna face the sea with a thousand mile stare,
and wish that I was floating there . . .
