A dreich day in Scotland

Dreich.
That's an old Scots word that sums up the kind of day we have had today.

In order to justify the word dreich the weather must have at least four of the following combinations:
Dull, overcast, drizzly, cold, misty and miserable.

We have had all six today.

Hence the photograph taken from inside our house enlivened by a reflection of a lamp through the window.

Origin of dreich- Middle English, of Scandinavian origin akin to Old Norse -drjugr.
