Washing Off

We were planning to get everyone from school to go skating on this lake next Monday. As strange as it sounds, we can't go there because they are digging the lake up. Most of the lake is about half a meter of ice ice and they have front end loaders scraping it all up. Around some of the edges, there is water and the muck they are scraping up from below the waterline is black, oozy, disgusting sludge. This machine had been in the thick of the muck and the driver decided to move to another spot for a quick clean off.

I also like the guy in the background walking.. Looks like he's walking on water.

I'll be out tomorrow looking for alternative venues for skating next Monday.
