University of Glasgow, evening

My university, taken at 7.30pm on a misty February evening from Argyll Street, near the end of Kelvin Way. Not my usual angle for viewing George Gilbert Scott's tower in my student days, or indeed my school days, all of which began by my getting off the bus in University Avenue, on the far side of the building.

Earlier, we drove over the Avenue on our way to dinner at Konaki - a splendid Cretan restaurant - followed by a wonderful concert by the Tallis Scholars in the Art Galleries. The whole evening was filled with memories and music, and I shall blog about it - but not at one o'clock in the morning!
