Thin Cat

Unlike the rest of my family, I've always loved this sculpture. My Grandfather bought in the 1960s from an exhibition at The Bluecoat. When he died (many years ago) he had a reasonable collection of art that he had accumulated during his lifetime. None of the other members of my family wanted this - so I got it.

The label underneath tells me the artist was "E Rose, Hoylake". A little digging around on google and I discover that Edna Rose was a well known wildlife sculptor - most famous for her bust of Jet of Iada. I must do some more research.
