Life, not as we see it.

By GOT

Always was a sooker for a pretty fleur.

So guess where we did go today.
The insect zoo was a bit weak but we did get to hold, if that's the correct term, lots of different live insects including a scorpion and two disappearing insects.  At least I think it was 2.
Then on to Queen Someone's Botanic garden.  Built on a hillside which one of us couldn't be bottomed climbing up so we were back on the road on our 125 speed thing quite soon.  Entry was free to us over 60s so nothing lost.
Then mistake 2 of the day.  Took the long way back which looked flat and straightish on the map.   Was it hell!  40 miles of twisty up & down mountains had us knackered and saddle sore by the time we got back to the ranch.   Fixed with a bottle of Chilean Merlot though.
I hear you ask "what was mistake No 1"  Well may you ask.   We bought some trousers for Louise to wear during her "confinement" and parcelled them up to send home with some surplus bits & pieces.   Cost £24 surface mail and will take 2-3 months to get to Troon.  Too late I fear.   Ah well, we learn by our mistakes, don't we?
Managed to squeeze in a couple of Changs at lunchtime, mainly to cool lunch which was indescribably tasty, and HOT, HOT, HOT.   Street food sellers don't understand "Medium Spicy".   Made up for yesterday's french lack-of-connection.
Tomorrow?  We'll have to wait & see.
