Winter´s return

It snowed all day yesterday leaving the ground blanketed in about 5 inches of the fluffy white stuff. Delightful. Winter returned again, nut not to stay. No sooner was the sun up that it all started melting so I grabbed the camera and was garden bound in my pj´s to catch it before it all disappeared into the awful brown slush that is now on the ground!
Proper fluffy looking snow, but in reality it was quite heavy and wet, perfect for snowman building! If nothing else, in the brief few hours it lay it did give the place that magical almost Christmassy feel all over again! Now, where are my skis?!
