Bluebonnet

The Texas State Flower.

Named for its colour and, it is said, the resemblance of its petal to a woman's sunbonnet. A wild flower that blooms in the early spring and can be readily found in fields and along the roadsides.

This is the equivalent to my much loved Daffodils! Much like home people are out taking pictures of their kids in the flowers :)

(don't tell the Texan's but our Daffies are far more spectacular hehe)
