Letting off steam

Hard day's work today up at the site, painting and cleaning. Finally a house is starting to emerge from the rubble, testament to all Mr B's hard work and perserverance. He'll be there all week but we have a lovely weekend off next weekend, and then I think the following weekend might just be time for the final clean and then stripping our own home bare of all the nice furniture and other stuff to make the new house look livable in.

The picture is the chemical works near Burntisland in Fife, taken from the A92. From what I've heard, it's very hard to measure the outputs of the flare on windy days... and the flare tends to burn more on windy days... Not that I'm saying anything about them trying to hide any bad outputs in extreme weather conditions, I wouldn't say that. Oh no. Not me.
