Open the garden centre at Easter - surely not!

In NZ there was legislation put in place to say who could open at Easter. Only essential places, like dairies, service stations, etc, were allowed to open, and although garden centres had always been allowed to open somehow they were left off the list.

So now, every year, our local nursery chain opens, gets prosecuted, and pays a $1000 fine. They have a big sale to make sure they make lots of money, and people support them because they want the garden centres to be open!

All so ridiculous. but that's bureaucracy for you.
