Sunlight on the ridge

I missed the mist in the valleys this morning (too slow to get started) but the light through the trees on Millmoor Heights was lovely.

I'm going to hear Terry Donelly talk about his photographs at Wakefield Camera Club this evening.  It should be a good night.

In between I've done a few household things and cut back the lonicera which had overbalanced the obelisk.  Oh, and I'm still trying to sort out my Lightroom catalogue.  (The only conclusion I can come to is that I deleted the latest catalogue when I was removing photos - I think I need to get into the habit of saving it to two different drives .)

Oh and the best thing about the day is that the sun has lasted much longer than forecast.  It's been a lovely blue day and quite warm too.
