Sweet Peas

How I wish you could smell these. My first picking from the garden, seem to be just pink opening to whites and the perfume in our lounge is intoxicating - even Doug commented how nice it was.

Much cooler today with a reasonably brisk southerly wind.  Looked like rain but never eventuated.

Same old same old.....cricket and tennis, tennis and cricket.  A win to our Black Caps against Sri Lanka, top game.

Beetroot bottled, gingernuts and fruit loaf made, all thanks to Doug while I continued on the editing of the Townsville holiday - just one more day and all done.....yus!!!

The guilts were setting in so I cooked dinner and cleaned up after.  Ha ha!!

Oh and BTW - thats my garden out the window.  I used my 70 - 200 (it was attached from yesterday) at f4 giving the lovely smushy bokeh.
