Ambush

I was out in the fog taking photos of droplet covered flowers when I came across a flower spider patiently waiting for breakfast to come along. She is a New Zealand native crab spider belonging to the Diaea species.

My son’s birthday. I have made fresh pasta, his favourite, and I expect him at any minute.
