High tide, low sun

The sun sets over the Eems on a hazy spring evening at the Punt van Reide.

Went out for a sunset shoot together with Ton. Ton just received his Lee Big Stopper filter and wanted to have a go with that. With the tide coming in, it sure was a good opportunity and I decided to install my own Big Stopper in front of the lens as well, resulting in a nice long exposure.

Not long after this shot, the sun disappeared behind the haze and the low clouds. The light was pretty much gone. We did take some more long exposures without the Big Stopper but the first shots were the best tonight.
