To a blip...

Fair fa’ your wa' wi bonnie shot,
O blips that folk have seen and cau’t!
Braw ideas you wished you’d though’t,
Portrait, landscape, candid or street:
Weel composed an’ finely wrought.
Even some to mak ye greet.

How he wish'd for some inspiration -
A pet, a wean, tonight’s libation.
Curse this wretch'd blip agitation.
Then, look! A sunset!
Upload an’ post wi anticipation
For comments on the silhouette.

An’ so ye find, six years hae pass’d.
Amazed this blip craze has last.
Dreamin’ o exposure, levels and contrast.
To count - twa-thoosand, one hundred, and ninety -
A fair amount to have amass’d -
Or just six years, tae you and me.

So here’s tae Joe, tae G and more
For gie’n us oor daily chore.
Tae stop noo, we’d a' deplore.
Where Flickr, Twitter an’ the Facebook
Hae foties uploaded by the forescore
Blip’s still in its own wee neuk!

It just so happened that my six year blip-anniversary landed on Burns Night, so that was my blip sorted! :)

Over the past few nights I've also uploaded all my back-blips from Christmas in Florida, starting here.
