A multitude of sins

The ivy that had run riot on the back of the house was covering a multitude of sins. As we discovered when the guys who were supposed to be thinning it out ripped it all off the wall. I knew there had been a wash house on the back but didn't know the extent of the bodge job done in the 1950s when it was demolished. I do now. It might look ok in another ten years or so if we can grow something else over it.
