Snow At The Old Forge (Tuesday 3rd February 2015)

The second snowfall of the season to reach Calne was slightly more substantial than the first and took me by surprise when I went to answer the door at 0750 hr to the parcel postman.

He had brought me a new lens, a Pentax 55mm f1.4 prime, and I wasted no time in attaching it to a camera and trying it out in the garden, including these stinking iris berries.
