Man in a hurry

Not really; compared with Cairo, Aswan poddles along at a gentler pace. It was fun to hang out for a while in the market. There's a big security presence at the dams - lots of armoured cars, machine guns, strong points. It'll take a while for this place to get back to normal. Not that I mind. Normal means hoards of tourists. But that's selfish on my part. Egypt needs people to visit. Go now while it's quiet. I could recommend our trip.
