80/365: Zoo

Went over to Knaresborough with Lurkio today. It's a beautiful and interesting town. I loved the Town Windows project. It's a collection of public art that uses trompe l'oeil paintings to create windows. There are 10 altogether dotted about the town but this one, titled "Zoo", was my favourite. It made me smile. It is by artist, Julie Cope. I think it's fantastic.

Knaresborough did have a zoo once upon a time but it became very run down and closed many moons ago.

Top day, rounded off by a yummy curry. Ready for my bed now :)
