The Mill

The final stop of our short Easter break saw us call in at Quarry Bank - a National Trust property a short distance from Manchester Airport. Those of you who watched Channel 4's The Mill will probably be aware that this is the site that both inspired and acted as the filming location.

A light drizzle accompanied us for much of the day, but we managed to fit in the essential Egg Hunt in the gardens before heading inside for a tour of the the Apprentice House and later the Mill itself. Lots to see and plenty to learn.
