Parakeet!

Finally got some reasonable shots of the parakeets this morning.

There was a great flock of them flying around by Lloyd Park. I would love to get a whole flock of them but I am supposed to be working, not running up and down the road with my camera, so it'll be pure luck if I do manage it. I'm sure the residents must think I'm absolutely bonkers!

The parakeets stay quite high in the trees and are well camouflaged. I don't like having to use too much of the zoom as it loses the sharpness. I think this shot was best of the lot so far.
