La Siesta

A warmish morning after a light frost, lovely to wander round the garden with a cuppa in hand. I was most surprised how many spring flowering plants are budding up, some I'm sure will be flowering towards the end of winter.  Got three loads of washing out into the morning sun and all was dry by 3pm, just as well as cloud has now descended and its so very still - kind of eerie.......

And salvia La Siesta is my flower for BikerBear's flowerFriday challenge, ideal for a sunny border with its profusion of soft pink flowers. Last time you saw it I was grumbling that the bees were supposed to like it and hadn't found it. I'm not grumbling now big bumbles have found it, I'm very happy about that, now it's a keeper!

The weekend has arrived, I have a sausage casserole in the oven to be served with rice, just keeping it simple for a Friday night.

Happy weekend everyone :)
