Fitbaw

American flavoured flavored.

Euan's first proper game of the season, Clackmannanshire Ravens versus Lanarkshire Longhorns at the newly spray-painted Fishcross Stadium. Samantha and I went along to show our support, and to enjoy the American razzamatazz that goes hand-in-hand with the sport.*

Hadn't the foggiest idea what was going on mostly, seems to be a lot of faffing around interspersed with brief interludes of sport. Euan's really gotten into it though, and was well chuffed when he got picked to start today. He said he's played better, and it was a defeat for his team, but, hey, it's the being flipped around like a rag doll, getting the wind knocked out of you, staving your thumb and having your chin split open that counts.

Was good to see a small crowd braving the absolutely baltic conditions (drove the car pitch-side and sat in that for a bit because it was so cold) to support them all and hopefully that builds as the season continues.
