Day 839 - VE Day

VE Day has been slightly overshadowed by news of yesterday's election.  There was a beacon on Dumyat this evening, along with another 199 beacons across the UK.

It has been quite an historic day in Scottish politics (and across the UK !) - hopefully with the promise of quite an exciting future for our wee country!!! 

But I suspect oor Nicola will have a few battles in Westminster...!
