Fellowship

An unusual day. Slightly surreal meeting this morning (buildings, borrowing, security and lakes!) then over to spend the day in a very collegial environment meeting lots of extremely interesting and very welcoming people....lovely. We had a tour and looked at all their various collections-including this book of signatures from 1857 including that of James Clerk Maxwell the physicist who worked on electromagnetism and who Einstein saw as his major influence. Fascinating!
Straight from there to book group...more conviviality (although we missed hazelh!) and a lovely garden. Reminded me how lovely it is on a beautiful evening like this. Stunning sunset on the way home
