Western Isles Spring sailings May 26th to June 2nd 2015 by the steamer have all been cancelled due to the high winds since last week. After reaching Campbeltown last Tuesday the decision to abandon  was taken with regret and she has been back lying idle at her Glasgow berth. There will be refunds or future use of booked tickets but there must be hundreds of disappointed people since many head north for the week to enjoy these magical sails from Oban Mallaig Kyle of Lochalsh  Portree and Gairloch. A most important income stream has been lost to  Waverley Steam Navigation Company
