Painting with mud

Forth Valley Open Studios kicked off today and I had my first visitor, Scott Richard, a new arts graduate, quarter of an hour before I was due to open. ( Such is the keeness of new graduates!).
So he got roped in to help with final preparations.
 
Among my first visitors today were two young sisters, Laetitia and Phyllis, who came last year and were anxious to have another go at mud painting.
 
They took to it with gusto again though they had to paint inside the studio today on small sheets of paper because we had very strong winds and could not work in the garden.
   
Nevertheless they produced a whole series of paintings. Laetitia (pictured) holds up her favourite while Phyllis painting is in extra photos.
