Bowood 2015 #26: Rhododendron Gdns (Thur 28th May)

Although it was less than a week since my last trip to Bowood's Rhododendron Walks the wind and rain had already taken their tolls and a lot of the bloom was now on the ground. I explored some of the paths I hadn't walked the time before and spent some time reading and studying in the Jubilee Garden.

The Who - I Can't Explain (recorded November 1964, Pye Studios, London)
Heard in the car on the way over, on Radcliffe/Maconie, BBC Radio 6 Music.
This was the Who's debut single on which they were augmented by Jimmy Page on rhythm guitar and the Ivy League's backing vocals. Perry Ford from the Ivy league also played piano.
