Hurricane Carlos

The newest storm off the coast officially became a hurricane, spawning some great clouds in our little bay. We decided to take them in before the rains started (which they eventually did in the late evening). The water was also a cool color, so I was trying to capture both when this skim-boarder entered my frame to provide a bit of human interest. I had watched yet another Lightroom seminar (this time from a landscape photographer) and it had shown techniques for interrupting photos in a more dramatic manner. Used some of those to make this photo more in keeping with what we observed on our walk (a little crunchy because I was using my Panasonic rather than my Canon).
