Auction buy!

Just back from the auction this morning having had the usual amount of fun (mainly watching dealers being outbid by non-dealers...always good sport!)
Hubby got some rather nice sequential commemorative Scottish bank notes, a beautiful pair of Waterford Lead Crystal brandy glasses and a nice example of Royal Doulton's the Old Balloon Seller, which we've been after for some time now...well pleased.
My star buy was this gorgeous gold tie pin with a little Rolleiflex Camera on it...I'm going to get it made over into a pin brooch...my Dad was a keen photographer and he had one of these cameras...I must find a photo of him using it from somewhere...I had to outbid a dealer to get it which was great fun as she normally hoovers up all of the gold and silver jewellery as well as all the costume jewellery...and still paid very little for it...so chuffed!
