Miss NolaBeans

What does everyone in Washington DC do on a rainy Saturday in June? They head for the National Air & Space museum, or at least that's what it seemed like today when we took the kids there.  They had a great time  in spite of the huge crowds, but after a few hours, we were all pretty tired and Grandpa went to get the car so we wouldn’t have to walk in the torrential rain.

This is our youngest granddaughter, Nola, in her plastic poncho, looking quite weary and watching for grandpa.  We are hoping that the slight black eye and the cut under her nose (that I photoshopped out) will be gone by the time she goes back to her parents next week.  On the day of her arrival, she hadn’t been at our house longer than an hour when she hopped on to the hammock and flipped out and smacked her face on the tree.  I debated between color and B&W so I have included the color version in the extras with a couple of shots of the museum.
