Chef of the Lesson

Hottest day in 9 years apparently, and since it's not usual in the UK, no air conditioning.   I've felt listless and distracted all day.

A very pleased Sam was 'Chef of the Lesson' again with his (extra photo) upside-down cake.  Unfortunately the only member of the family willing to eat fruit in a cake (apart from me) is on holiday so that's not looking good for the holiday diet...

Sam spent a lovely hour once the intense heat had gone out of the day water sliding with the dog.  There were lots of funny photos but there was something about this one with him throwing up the bubbles that made it the pick of the day for me.
