landing

Wednesday - day in town. Wandered town during lunch break and bought train ticket for trip North. Town is getting seriously busy. Lots of police again - I presume some other important person is visiting.... Lots of building sites as well - I can't wait for the mechanical dinosaurs to take down the St James Centre even if they clad the replacement with limestone. Seems like more traditional  sandstone is hard to source in particular on the large scale required. I wonder if synthetic stone was considered. We shall see what they are going to build in its place.
